Product Review

The Roto Grip Bandit showcases a dependable weight block shape and powerful coverstock. The Caliber weight block shape of the Bandit maximizes pin action, accomplished through increased energy transfer of about 12% when compared to traditional cores, and works for both rev dominant and speed dominant players. The Inception coverstock has a surface topography that showed Ra values up nearly 10% from previous blends. The Bandit handles a variety of conditions ranging from a typical house shot to tough tournament action. the Bandit provides a "long and strong" reaction. Coverstock: Inception Pearl Reactive Weight Block: Caliber Core (14-16 lbs), Modified Caliber Core (12-13 lbs) Ball Color: Charcoal/Yellow Lane Condition: Medium Oil Ball Finish: 1500 Polished Flare Potential: 4-5 inches RG: 16#-2.54, 15#-2.57, 14#-2.60, 13#-2.59, 12#-2.65 RG Differential: 16#-0.051, 15#-0.048, 14#-0.044, 13#-0.045, 12#-0.035

I did not pay much attention to the Outlaw and Bandit when they came out, but am glad I gave the Bandit a try - liked it immediately. I think this is a versatile, controllable, skid/flip ball with excellent continuation that would work well for about anybody. It could be a first-ball-out-of-the-bag on THS for some people... but in my mind it's even better as a second-ball-out-of-the-bag when you see some breakdown. The Bandit is probably going to be my new go-to ball when the Infinite Theory starts moving earlier than I'd like. This was the intended purpose for my Rising Star, but I'm liking the Bandit much better for this role.

Really like the look of this ball. Second game with it, somebody in the league next to me asked if I gave lessons - he must have liked the look too... it fooled him into thinking I was a bowler. :)

I'm curious to how it compares to a Victory Road, if anybody knows.
